1993

Safety Signs Creation

Jay and Sue Blanchard, along with their partners, Nancy and Jim Blanchard, started Safety Signs by buying signs and barricade components. Putting them together in their driveway, at their home in Lakeville, MN.

In some time, 19784 Kenrick Ave in Lakeville becomes the site of Safety Signs' first yard and job trailer space.

1995

A Momentous Phase

In 1995, Safety Signs purchased a Gerber machine to begin making our own construction signs. In this year, the first full-time employee was hired. With a small, but mighty team, Safety Signs and the Blanchard family lead a community build project for the Land of Amazement playground in Lakeville.
